CENTRAL CITY -- Phil and Don Everly opened their 13th annual Homecoming Concert Saturday singing about how they still consider the Green River their home, and how much they miss the area.
After next year, it may be more like the area missing the Everly Brothers..................

Before the concert even started, Phil Everly announced that
next year's event would probably be the last for what has become a fixture on
Labor Day weekend in Muhlenberg County. It's not the first time Phil has made
such statements. The fifth concert was, at one time, slated to be the end of the
road, and eight years later the event is more popular than ever......................
